It is rare to find someone who can say they have only worked in one place their entire career, but for Shane Higgins (Owner) that is the case. When Shane says he knows automotive repair inside out, you can trust this is true. Driscoll’s has served HRM as gas, convenience and auto repair for over 60 years, however, decided to focus on just automotive repair several years ago.
At the age of fifteen Shane began working for his step father as a way to earn some part-time money. Little did he know fourteen years later he would be offered the opportunity to purchase the business. An exciting opportunity that Shane was eager to explore. Shane has spent many years cultivating long lasting relationships with his customers that many of them he now considers friends.He has grown with the ever changing demands of the industry and always keeps safety as his number one priority. He understands the serious consequences of driving an unsafe vehicle so keeping his friends and family safe is always number one.
Shane takes an immense amount of pride in his work. He thrives on maintaining an environment where his customers and employees feel comfortable and happy. It is rare to not find a smile on his face. ​His goals for the future are to continue developing his relationships with customers and to consistently grow and learn with the changes to this industry. He’s excited to continue to provide the reliable service HRM has grown to rely on.
